LOVE STORIES – Architecture Gallery Berlin

The ‘Love Stories’ exhibition focuses on the poetic tension between nature and culture
as well as analogue materiality and digital representation. For this purpose, an installation
gallery space consisting of 500 pink-coloured, plant-covered plastic containers.

1st prize for Seepark Hengstey Hagen

We are pleased about the 1st prize in the competition Seepark Hengstey in Hagen.
Embedded in the concept of the International Garden Exhibition (IGA) 2027 in the Ruhr metropolitan region,
a new park is being created on approx. 20 hectares along the southern shore of Lake Hengstey with a holistic
for regional and national tourism, local recreation and the development of nature and landscape.

Our design for the Landesgartenschau 2027 Lutherstadt Wittenberg was awarded with the 2nd prize.

Awarded! We are very pleased about an award at the German Landscape Architecture Award 2023.
Our project “Gartenschau Eppingen 2022” is honored in the category “Green-Blue-Infrastructure”.

2nd prize Landesgartenschau Ulm 2030

Our design for the competition Landesgartenschau Ulm 20230 was awarded 2nd prize.
With the Parkband Westglacis, a green space is being created that can be experienced and used throughout
different park areas from the Wilhelmsburg to the Danube.

Recognition Uferpromenade Kiellinie

Our design with Tobe.STADT for the Kiellinie receives recognition.
The promenade runs directly along the water from the Ostseekai to the naval base in Wik and
is one of the most popular recreational areas in Kiel.

2nd prize Mainufer Heidingsfeld

We are pleased to have won 2nd prize in the planning competition for the redesign of the Main riverbank in
Heidingsfeld, a district of Würzburg. Our design includes a generous park with a variety of leisure facilities
and the linking of the centre of Heidingsfeld with the banks of the Main.

2nd prize Hopfenmarkt Hamburg

Together with MONO Architects and the designers from MUS, our redesign of the historic Hopfenmarkt in the
heart of Hamburg was awarded 2nd prize. Well preserved parts of the rampart of the “Neue Burg” were
discovered under the square area. The aim was to enhance the excavation site with an exhibition building,
the “Archaeological Window” as well as to redesign the square and the adjacent areas.

1st prize for “Tor West” competition in Ibbenbüren

In the planning competition with urban planning component “Tor West” in Ibbenbüren we were awarded 1st
prize for our contribution in collaboration with yellow Z, Berlin. The reason for the competition is a former coal
mine site in the Münsterland region, which is to be transformed over a longer period into a modern service and
cultural location over a longer period of time. The competition is the first of further building blocks on the site.

1st prize Volkspark Marl

Our design for the Volkspark in Marl was awarded 1st prize. The task was the revision of an aging city park with
a lot of potential in the form of a small lake, wooded parts with valuable trees and an abandoned stadium.
The project is an accompanying project of the International Garden Exhibition IGA Metropolregion Ruhr 2027.

German Landscape Architecture Prize 2021

At the German Landscape Architecture Prize 2021, our golden Weihersteig in Wassertrüdingen was awarded
in the category “Landscape Architecture in Detail”. Katja Erke from Planorama and Mr Ultsch, Mayor of
Wassertrüdingen, accepted the award. The 1st prize and the awards are awarded every two years by the
BDLA (Association of German Landscape Architects) at a ceremony in Berlin and honour exemplary and
outstanding projects in landscape architecture. Back in 2015, we received an award for the Marketplace in
Rheydt, followed by 1st prize for the Rheinboulevard in Cologne in 2017.

3rd prize Landesgartenschau Rottweil 2028

In the competition for the Baden-Württemberg Landesgartenschau Rottweil 2028, our entry was awarded the
3rd prize. The task was to renaturalise the Neckar and design a coherent, landscaped city park,
which extends over a striking break-off edge to the old town.

1st prize Gartenschau Bad Urach 2027

Our competition entry for the Baden-Württemberg Garden Show in Bad Urach 2027 was awarded with the
1st prize. The aim of the competition was to modernise an existing spa park area and to expand it as an open
park for the entire town. We’re beyond excited!

Gartenschau Eppingen 2022 | Opening

In May, our project “Gartenschau Eppingen 2021 (2022)” now officially opens its doors:
Postponed by one year to 2022 due to the pandemic, the opening will take place on May 20 with a ceremony.
For one summer, from May 20 to October 2, the town of Eppingen will be hosting the Baden-Württemberg
garden show. Afterwards, Eppingen’s citizens and visitors will be presented with a a contemporary park that
is characterized by a high degree of diversity in terms of design and use.

Recognition Erweiterung Hamburger Hauptbahnhof

Together with MONO Architekten, we are pleased to have received recognition in competition “Extension of
Hamburg Central Station”. A recognition amongst the internationally renowned participants is a great success
at the end of the year.

2nd prize Gedenkort Kyffhäuser

2nd prize in the competition for “Gedenkort Kyffhäuser”.
In collaboration with MONO Architekten and the communication designers from MUS, we created a design for
the integration of museum architecture into the listed buildings of the Kyffhäuser-Plateau as well as the redesign
of the entire outdoor facilities.

1st prize in the competition »Neugestaltung Rheinuferpromenade Bonn«. Subject was a promenade I the center of Bonn,
the former capital of Germany. From the Beethoven-Hall to the opera-house till Bundesrechnungshof.

2nd prize 2nd prize in the competition Hameln Europaplatz | Stockhof

Our proposal in the realization competition for the Europaplatz/ Stockhof in Hameln was awarded with the 2nd prize.
It is a reactivation for the urban space and the promenade of the river Weser.

2nd prize for the redesign of Nikolaiplatz in Eschwege

We are pleased to have won 2nd prize in the competition “Umgestaltung des Nikolaiplatzes” in Eschwege.
Due to a pandemic, the jury meeting took place 1 year later than originally scheduled.
Currently used as a parking lot, which is strongly characterised by topography, the square will be
completely redesigned into a green city square. The Nikolai Tower, which gives the square its name,
borders directly on the square, from which one can enjoy a beautiful view over the entire old town.

UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE IN KÖLN-DEUTZ

The Niedergermanische Limes, and thus also its Deutzer section, has been designated a UNESCO World
Heritage Site. We are pleased and proud to be part of this historic site with our planing of the Rheinboulevard
and the Historischer Park Deutz.

Our design for the Fährberg section of the Bundesgartenschau 2025 in Rostock was awarded 1st prize.
We are beyond excited!
