Master of Science Landscape Architecture
Fabian Karle was born in in Heilbronn, Germany, in 1980 and grew up in the hilly Swabian-Franconian Forest landscape. After finishing school and completing a year of community service, he moved to Berlin, where he studied Urban and Regional Planning and Landscape Architecture at the Technische Universität Berlin. During his studies, he honed his design skills by working at various landscape-architecture practices and successfully entering student competitions. His interests in art and architecture served as further inspiration for his in-depth engagement with the themes of spatial perception and aesthetics. Fabian Karle joined the competitions team at Planorama in 2013. He was largely responsible for numerous winning entries, and in 2015 was appointed head of the department. In the ensuing years, his remit expanded, including the supervision of designs produced by the projects team, public relations tasks, and acquisitions. Since 2021, he has been an associate partner at Planorama, in charge of design and acquisitions.
